Chevy Chase is the part of Lexington people actually want to stay in — tree-lined streets, local restaurants and coffee two blocks away, and the University of Kentucky and the Arboretum a short drive out. This updated three-bedroom home sits right in the middle of it, and it's built for the way families and groups actually travel: room to spread out, a hot tub for the adults, and a game room that keeps everyone else busy. You can walk to dinner, park four cars off-street, and settle up to eight people without anyone drawing the short straw on where to sleep.
We run this home ourselves through Sixgen Rentals, so the details are handled — fast answers, a clean house, and a check-in that just works. Here is what you get.
The main floor is open and bright. A refreshed kitchen with stainless appliances, stone counters and a full set of cookware, dishes and coffee gear runs straight into a living room with leather seating and a smart TV. It's the kind of layout where the cook is still part of the conversation. There's a dedicated workspace and fast wifi if a member of the group needs to log on, and a first-floor half bath keeps daytime traffic off the bedrooms.
Downstairs, the game room is the part guests write home about: a full ping-pong table, a pop-a-shot basketball hoop, foosball, darts and an indoor putting green. Rain or shine, morning or midnight, there's something to do. It's genuinely fun for adults and kids, and it's the reason a lot of families rebook.
Where you'll sleep
Three bedrooms sleep eight, with a living-room sleeper sofa for overflow. The first-floor master is the easy retreat — a comfortable bed, calm decor and its own ensuite full bath, so you never have to climb stairs half-asleep. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with quality linens, soft lighting and room to actually unpack, sharing a full hallway bath. Every bed is made up with real linens, extra pillows and blankets, and the closets and dressers are yours to use.
Kitchen & living
The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, not just reheating: full-size refrigerator and freezer, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, baking sheets, wine glasses and a starter set of coffee. Bring groceries from the store two blocks away and cook a proper dinner, or keep it simple with takeout from the neighborhood — either way the dining table seats the group together. The open living area is where everyone lands in the evening for a movie or a board game.
The backyard
Step out back and the yard does the heavy lifting. A pergola shades a paved patio with a private hot tub, a modern fire-pit table, comfortable lounge seating and a gas grill, all screened by mature privacy hedges. The hot tub is available year-round and open 24 hours — string lights on, a drink in hand, this is where the adults end the night. The yard is fully fenced, which matters if you're traveling with kids or a dog, and there's a front-porch swing out front for a quieter morning coffee.
Family- and pet-friendly
We travel with kids and pets too, so this home is set up for it: a crib and a pack-and-play are here, fireplace guards are in place, and the fenced yard gives you peace of mind. We welcome up to two pets for a $100 fee per pet — just let us know in advance so we can have everything ready.
After confirming your reservation, you’ll receive access to our Guest Portal, which must be completed before check-in. It includes your check-in instructions, house rules, and required guest information.
You will also be asked to review and sign our external rental agreement. During this process, you’ll have the option to purchase a nightly damage protection plan (damage waiver) for coverage against accidental damages during your stay.
🐾 Pet-Friendly Stay
We’re happy to welcome pets in our property! We allow up to 2 pets, and there is a $100 pet fee per pet. Please inquire and let us know in advance if you’re bringing pets so we can add the fee to your reservation. This helps us prepare the space and ensure a comfortable stay for you and your furry friends.

Great stay and host was very helpful we loved the home.
Great property with lots of fun amenities to keep kiddos and adults occupied. Wonderful space to stay with responsive hosts!
We loved the location and the interior spaces although we were disappointed about the neighboring daycare. The weekday noise was not user friendly to the outdoor spaces and needs a deep clean along with a few repairs.
