About the property
Two homes, side by side, 7.5 miles from the Ark Encounter, built for one big group. Sixgen Rentals put two neighboring farmhouses on one quiet country road so your wholecrew stays together instead of splitting across two locations. Between them: 11 bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms, 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, a pickleball court, 2 fire pits, and a kid designed basement game room. Church groups, family reunions, school field trips,
and multi-family vacations book this place because everyone sleeps under two roofs, eats around the same tables, and gathers on the grass in between. You are 7.5 miles from the Ark Encounter and a short drive from the Creation Museum.
This is two complete homes rented together as one property. They sit directly next to each other with a large grassy area in the middle, so kids can run between them and adults can move from one kitchen to the other without getting in a car. Each home stands on its own with its own living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms, which means a group of 30 has real room to spread out, and two families can each claim a house while
still sharing the pool, the fire pit, and the yard. That layout is what makes it work for church retreats and reunions: common space for everyone at once, plus quiet corners when people need them.
BEDROOMS
Eleven bedrooms across the two homes give you a mix of sleeping setups. There is a first-floor king master suite with a private en-suite bathroom, several queen and full bedrooms, a dedicated bunk room the kids fight over, and additional bedrooms on the lower level with window access and exits. Beds are made up with linens before you arrive. The bunk room sleeps the cousins and teenagers together, the king suite gives grandparents or trip leaders a private space, and the rest flex for couples, singles, and families. Fifteen beds total means most guests get a real bed, not an air mattress.
BATHROOMS
Nine full bathrooms means no one is standing in line on a Sunday morning before church or a field-trip departure. One is the private en-suite off the king master; the other eight are shared across the two homes and spread out so a group getting ready at the same time actually can. Each bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and
towels. With this many bathrooms, a group of 16 gets everyone showered and out the door on schedule, which is exactly what matters when you have an Ark Encounter opening time to make.
KITCHEN & LIVING
Both homes have their own full kitchen, so you can cook for the whole group in one and prep coffee and breakfast in the other, or run two meal crews at once. Between the two kitchens you have the counter space, refrigerator room, and table seating to feed a large group without everyone crowding one stove. For the bigger sit-down meals, plan to use
both kitchens rather than one, and bring a few extra serving basics if you are cooking for the full house. Each home has multiple indoor living areas with comfortable seating and a TV, good for splitting into a movie crowd and a card-game crowd. Downstairs, the kid- designed basement is a real draw: pop-a-shot basketball, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and arcade games keep kids and teenagers busy while the adults get a quiet evening
upstairs.
OUTDOOR
The outdoor space is the reason groups rebook. There is a fenced pool for swimming and lounging, a hot tub that runs all year, a pickleball court, a fire pit for evening s'mores and conversation, and covered porches on both homes for morning coffee and sunset dinners. A trampoline and open green space give younger kids room to burn energy, and the large grassy area between the two homes becomes the natural gathering spot for the whole group. Fire up the grill, put the kids in the pool, get the pickleball paddles out, and the afternoon takes care of itself. The pool is fully fenced, which parents of little ones appreciate. Please note the pool is open seasonally from April 1 through October 31; pool heating is available on request for an additional daily fee if you want to swim in the shoulder months.
This property comfortably sleeps 30 guests, and that is the number the booking is set up for, so please plan your headcount and let us know. After you book, you will receive a Guest Portal to complete before check-in; it covers your check-in instructions, the house rules, and the guest information we are required to collect. You will also be asked to review and sign a short external rental agreement, and there is an optional nightly damage protection plan you can add for peace of mind. A few practical notes: the homes sit on a quiet country road with plenty of free on-site parking for a caravan of vehicles, high-speed internet is available in both homes, and the property is pet-friendly so the family dog is welcome. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We are Superhosts with a full team behind the booking and we respond quickly; message us with your group's plans
and we will help you figure out the best way to use the two homes for your reunion, retreat, or trip.

The property is beautiful! The homes are situated with a beautiful view! The main areas are comfortable and accommodate a large group! The big houses kitchen is not well equipped for cooking for 18-20 people but we made it work. The landscaping (grass/netting) was a trip hazard and could really use a lot of work. The houses were nearly perfect aside from those issues. I will say the communication prior to check in was awkward- they definitely use AI answering services and it almost deterred me from booking. I’m glad we have the location a chance. We really enjoyed our stay.
We took our Christian school field trip group to Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, zoo, etc. We are from the country and were a little uneasy about having our group staying in a city setting. This home was absolutely perfect for us. The beautiful, safe, rural location was within easy driving distance to the venues we wanted to visit. Seth was very prompt in communicating, answering questions, and dealing with any issues...which were almost non-existent. The house, pools, and grounds were sparkling clean and ready to use...an absolutely beautiful property. We would rent again in a heartbeat. Having this home to retreat to and relax in each evening after our day of walking, walking, walking at our various venues was wonderful. The pools, hot tub, and game rooms kept our students occupied and the adults had plenty of space to work and relax in. Highly recommend.
Loved the stay. House was clean and beautiful. But felt like I was talking to AI when I messaged host. Also the big house was listed as 8 bedrooms and there was 7. There was enough beds. ( three in one room for a couple rooms) but the room count was off. Luckily we had kids that could share rooms.
